Shift

Shift is a 4 player local versus game where you try to kill the other players by only shifting locations (swapping) with another player. This puts players in a high tension situation of when another player will shift and test their reaction time for when a shift occurs. Shift was created in the HamJam (Hamilton Game Jam) in 2016. It was created in about 12 hours while working in between other projects.
The goal for Shift was to create a very simple concept but have more polished elements not usually seen in a game jam like more concise UI, reactionary User Experience, and really convey actions to the player.
I was a solo developer and created the concept and system within the project. Any art assets were from the Unity asset store or other sources.

Flippin' Birds

Flippin' Birds is an incredibly quick but frustrating game about a fish out of water trying to avoid birds trying to eat them. The controls are meant to be frustrating and sporadic to really focus on reaction time and a player's focus and control. Flippin' Birds and was made in less than 48 hours with a team of 2.
Beyond creating the arts assets, I implemented the assets within the Unity Engine and created all the systems within the game.

Phantom's Labyrinth

Phantom's Labyrinth is a asymmetrical splitscreen versus game where one player becomes a ghost and tries to use traps to kill the other players while the those players collect map pieces and try to escape. Phantom's Labyrinth was created in less than 48 hours at the Global Game Jam game created by a team of 5 in 2015.
My role was more of a project manager and generalist as I helped with a bunch of different aspects of the project but didn't have any specific task I solely completed. I broke down tasks from the project, created a schedule and helped where there were any issues. Some of these tasks were with: help with character rigging and constraints, merge code bases from multiple programmers with the map generation, movement/controls, etc, helped with the cross discipline of 3D modeling and technical with designing of how map layout and generation would work, menus, controller setup, etc.
